We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with grocery experience to be responsible for handling our client projects from pre-construction through to post-construction. This vacancy is a new role, you will be working closely with the project team to ensure that all project requirements, financials, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and executing effective project communication plans. To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes.

Responsibilities:
· Understand the setup requirements grocery store construction.
· Plan all phases of the construction project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
· Communicate with clients and delivers project progress reports.
· Develop and adhere to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.
· Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.
· Collaborate with the Site Supervisor and Project Coordinator to ensure the schedule and deliverables of the project.
· Ensure the order of necessary supplies, tools, and equipment.
· Collaborate with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.
· Monitor and guide compliance with building and safety regulations collaborating with the relevant internal and external resources.
· Update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.
· Ensure the timely completion of the project to build client trust while avoiding unnecessary penalties.
· Ability to manage and mitigate risks.
Your Qualifications & Skills Include
· Proven grocery construction project management experience is required.
· Excellent knowledge of construction management delivery model.
· The ability to build strong relationships with clients, project team members and contractors.
· The ability to lead a team by being an effective communicator and fostering a team environment where all those with project responsibilities work well together.
· The ability to lead and mentor a project team.
· The ability to manage multiple projects and team resources.
· Excellent time management and organization skills.
· Critical-thinking and problem-solving.
· Competent in conflict and crisis management.
· Excellent at budgeting.
· Experience using Microsoft Project.
· Education in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related degree.
· Valid Health & Safety certifications, an asset.
· Construction Project Management certification, an asset.
· Min 5 years of construction project management experience.
